Information on the Special Issue of the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing for the ISRSE36

The guest editors for the special issue of the ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing for the 36th ISRSE, John Trinder and Bjorn Waske, will be contacting oral presenters of papers ranked highly by the Session Chairs, and authors of good quality posters, in the next few weeks to invite them to prepare a new paper for consideration for inclusion in the Journal. Note that in all cases the authors must have submitted a paper to ISRSE36. If other authors of papers with full paper submitted to ISRSE36 wish to have their paper considered for publication, they should contact the guest editors (j.trinder@unsw.edu.au and bjoern.waske@fu-berlin.de) to advise them of their wish to do so. The ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing is a high impact Journal with a high rejection rate. Therefore papers that were prepared for the Proceedings are most unlikely to be acceptable without further amplification. Authors need to ensure that the content of the revised paper will be acceptable to the Journal editors. The review process is likely to take at least 6 months before the papers could be publication.
